About Fowler, NY
The Town of Fowler began in 1816 and was named for Theodosius Fowler, (1753-1841) a local landowner, who had served as a Captain in the American Revolution.
Fowler is located in southwest St. Lawrence County and borders the towns of Rossie, Gouverneur, Hermon, Edwards, Pitcairn, and Antwerp.
The Oswegatchie River's main and west branches flow through Fowler with scenic portages. The town is a beautiful setting for the Gouverneur Country Club and home to the Sylvia Lake community.

Fowler Family Day is an outdoor event. Participants/vendors are required to bring their own tables. If you would like to secure your spot, please fill out a registration form and return it to the Town Clerk office. 10 X 10 space is $15.00
